We come together, open the Bible, and study God’s Word as the authority in our lives. Doing this in a small setting with other followers helps us to see Christ in each other’s lives. Life Groups pray for each other through good times, and not so good times. Life Groups are not designed to stay together for life, but instead brought together each year for creating unity and authentic relationships with each other. Life Groups are like a kitchen. This is the place where true effort is put into becoming a more committed follower of Christ. In the Bible, the apostle Paul is talking to a young believer and focuses on the importance of studying the Bible.

2 Timothy 3:16 (The Message) 16 Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way.

It’s not flashy- but it will change your life. It is moving from being a spectator to becoming an active part of a community of believers in Christ. Allowing God to change your life takes effort. This time in the “kitchen” makes for fantastic dining in the worship experience. Worship is a reaction to who God is and how He has changed your life. Life Groups help us to see how we are in the process of becoming more like Christ.
